It's quite a phenomenon. They're being bought off the shelves everywhere. The demand is incredible. After 2 weeks of being out in stores, they are virtually sold out. Over 100,000 have been sold. I wish I could get one, but I can't justify spending another $249 after I already have the original 5GB iPod.
